Home Health Aide Employee online registration allows for home health aide agency employees who are non-residents to be able to park a non-commercial vehicle in nonmetered residential areas during service hours to their North Bergen client(s). 

When registering, ALL of the following documentation is required: 

     A.  Your valid driver's license.

     B.  Your valid vehicle registration.

     C.  Address(es) of North Bergen Client(s) to be served.

     D.  Verification of Employment :

                                   1. Employment verification letter on business letterhead with work schedule hours, and 

                                   2. Current paystub showing employee's name, with home health agency company/business 
                                                            name and address.                                                                                                                                                                                       
Fee:   $10.00 per vehicle; Valid thirty (30) days from the date of the Approval Confirmation.
             Six (6) months maximum per purchase. 
 
  

Non-Profit Employee online registration is for non-profit business employees who are non-residents to be able to park a non-commercial vehicle in nonmetered residential areas during service hours.  

When registering, ALL of the following documentation is required: 

     A.  Your valid driver's license.

     B.  Valid vehicle registration. 

     C.  Verification of Employment:

                                          1.  Employment verification letter on business letterhead with work schedule hours and                                                                          North Bergen address.

                                          2.  Current paystub showing employee's name, non-profit company/business name and address.

Fee:   $20.00 per vehicle; Valid monthly/30 days from the date of the Approval Confirmation. 

             Six (6) months maximum per purchase. 

 
YOU MUST CREATE AN ACCOUNT FIRST THEN PURCHASE ONLINE.   

Contractor Monthly online registration is for contractors using their business commercial vehicle when performing construction services in North Bergen. To qualify for this permit, contractors will need to show that the project will take more than one 8-hour day to complete. These permits are not valid for overnight parking.

When registering, ALL of the following documentation is required:

     A.  Your valid driver's license

     B.  Valid vehicle registration

     C. Copy of North Bergen Building Department permit

     D.  Company estimate of anticipated duration of project.

Fee:  $20.00 per vehicle; Valid thirty (30) days from the date of the Approval Confirmation.
            Six (6) months maximum per purchase. Longer term projects will need Parking Authority approval.

( Please note that these regulations apply to vehicles with commercial plates, Uber and Lyft vehicles, and

vehicles that exhibit signs of a commercial vehicle but have a non-commercial license plate. )

Non-Resident Business Owner online registration allows for North Bergen business owners who are non-residents to be able to park a non-commercial vehicle in the Township during their business hours.  

When registering, ALL of the following documentation is required: 

     A.  Your valid Diver's License.

     B.  Your valid vehicle registration.

     C.  Copy of your North Bergen business license or certificate of occupancy. (Any LLC information will be required                          to have owner information listed). 

Fees:   $20.00 per vehicle; Valid monthly/30 days from the date of the Approval Confirmation.
               $100.00 per vehicle; Valid for six (6) months from the date of the Approval Confirmation. 
               $175.00 per vehicle; Valid for one year from the date of the Approval Confirmation. 
 
  

Non-Resident Business Employee online registration allows for North Bergen business employees who are non-residents to be able to park a non-commercial vehicle in nonmetered residential areas during normal business hours.  

When registering, ALL of the following documentation is required: 

     A.  Your valid driver's license.

     B.  Your valid vehicle registration.

     C.  Verification of Employment:

                                          1.  Employment verification letter on business letterhead, and

                                          2.  Current paystub showing employee's name, North Bergen company/business name  and address.  

Fees:   $20.00 per vehicle; Valid monthly/30 days from the date of the Approval Confirmation.
               $100.00 per vehicle; Valid for six (6) months from the date of the Approval Confirmation. 
               $175.00 per vehicle; Valid for one year from the date of the Approval Confirmation. 
 
  

Business Property Owner online registration allows for non-resident property owners who also operate a separate business at the owned North Bergen property to park a non-commercial vehicle in nonmetered residential areas in the Township.

When registering, ALL of the following documentation is required: 

     A.  Your valid driver's license.

     B.  Your valid vehicle registration. 

     C.  Proof of property ownership (Deed, HUD-1 statement or tax bill), and 

     D.  Proof of business ownership at owned property (Copy of North Bergen business license, State Business   
                  Registration, Letter of Incorporation OR two utility bills showing a mailing address with the business'                                      name and North Bergen street address).                                                                                                                                                                 

Fee:   $125.00 per vehicle; Valid from the date of the Approval Confirmation until the set expiration date established for the zone in which the business is located.
